ASSIGNMENT
07 • Large format collage
Inspired by the work of David Hockney, Beriou and Gary Hill, create a cubist/Dada, life-sized [self / someone else’s] portrait out of scanned pieces of the body that you will print and glue onto a large surface. It must be at least 5x5ft. You can also explore volumes (boxes, spheres, other objects, as long as you have full body, and body parts scanned. You can add other elements and convert the piece into an abstract or non-realistic representation. For hygiene purposes, I discourage you to scan any private parts on a public scanner. Also, make sure you disinfect thoroughly the scanner before and after each use.
